This experience just gets better and better. Yesterday when I woke up and drove to work, I had no idea that later that day I would be on T.V. telling about the fun I had with this internship. Channel 5 Memphis news gave me a slot on the evening news. All of my friends, and my parents, were so proud of me. The friends that i've made are incredibly talented and fun people to work with. This opportunity is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I can't wait to take the things I've learned and share them with the teachers when I get assigned to a school this weekend!

TeachUp! Training
I have enjoyed the training so far. I think that the Google Account tutorial was the most exciting thing that i've seen so far. I had no idea how many technological possibilities existed in that free email client. I also enjoyed the texting polls. That would be an excellent tool in the future for gauging the responses of students (anonymously). I am excited about learning more on the use of Promethian boards too.

AmeriCorp & Me
As I set off on this new voyage in life with a mixture of fear and enthusiasm, I'm not quite sure what to expect and I'm not sure how things will turn out. But, with my strong work ethic, creativity and multi-dimensional charm on my side, I know that this will be a beneficial and exciting experience. The training so far has instilled me with a newfound sense of obligation; these schools and teachers need me to guide and usher them into a new technological age of innovation and brilliance.Computers and humans are approaching an inevitable future of efficient coexistence and I feel that it is my responsibility to help train the teachers who will educate the thinkers of tomorrow. I know that no matter what obstacles I may face, there is always someone on my team to help me. That's a great feeling.
